Frequently Asked Questions

Duel Three

submit question

Will reflex rolls be fixed? No. Also, reflex will be re-rolled before each duel. Once fixed reflex rolls are official for the AADA, I will change. :-)

What is/is not visible during a walkaround? Again, until something official makes it to me, I’ll handle it this way: Weapons will be identified by facing and type. Armored hubs under wheel guards will not be visible. Top or bottom mounted weapons, including dischargers, will not be visible, with the exception of turrets.

Will I be able to change my vehicle in any way between duels? No. You will start each duel with the exact same vehicle you had for the last duel, including hand weapons.

Will there only be one duel played at one time? No. I will run all first round duels at once. I won’t begin round two until all round one duels are finished.

Will all movement happen simoultaneously? No. There will most likely be several times in which the two duelists will be in close proximity, so movement order may be a big factor. Also, with only two duelists in the arena at one time, there should not be a substantial wait.

Will the 24 hour rule be in effect? Yes. If you don’t reply within 24 hours will your movement instructions, you will be moved straight. If you don’t reply within 24 hours with your combat instructions, you will not fire that phase. You may, at any time, notify me of future moves or combat intentions.

How big is the arena? 14” wide by 18” tall, measured from the outside edge of each wall. Each gate is 2” wide and the numbered squares are ½” x ½”. The dotted line toward the top of the arena is painted on the floor (not walls). It is used for sprint races, which will not apply to this event.

Are tire shots and dropped weapons legal? Yes.

Will the arena floor be cleared of debris, obstacles, oil, etc. between duels? Yes.
