Duel Three is complete. Kylan Toles is the winner.
When this event was rerun, Kylan decided the Division.

Welcome to Duel Three! This is a tourney style event, reminiscent of the NCAA Basketball tourney, only much smaller. :-)

The following bracket was determined randomly. Click on a name to see a description of the car.
The descriptions will be updated with actual weapon names (instead of small bore, large bore, etc.) as they are revealed so that everyone doesn't have to keep up with every duel.

This is much smaller than what initial response showed it would be. Because of that, look for this to be a recurring event. If it grows too big, I'll make it an annual event or maybe a semi-annual event.

The division will be 20 with any normal body style allowed (car, pickup, van, cycle, trike or racing body). Cars will be limited to a driver only with 30 skill points to divide any way you see fit. Skill points will not be public, unless you choose for them to be.

Round One is now over. Scavenger surrendered to Kylan after losing his front left wheel, moving Kylan into the finals. Curt scored 2 big hits on Nathaniel, taking our all of his left and back armor. Nathan subsequently surrendered, moving Curt into Round Two against John Blaylock.

Round Two went 29 turns before John managed to squeeze a surrender out of Curt. Curt was seen in the pit area flogging the mechanic that tuned his TL...

The final round ended with Kylan the victor!

Round Two

Final     Final Zoom

We will only be using Gate 1 and Gate 2. The walls are 80 DP each. The other 4 gates will remain open. Any vehicle leaving through one of those gates can return to the course through the same gate only.

The winner will be the first person, with or without his vehicle, to touch all six of the numbered squares in order and then exit his entry gate. If you kill the other driver, you will be declared a winner at that point.

All survivors will be awarded skill points and prestige, just as in the other Cyber-Duels. The winner will have his vehicle back with full ammo and armor before the next round. Any damage done to his person will also be healed. Driver’s identities will not be kept a secret in this event.

Please, email me with any questions. I have started an FAQ for this duel so there will be as little confusion as possible.

One last thing… Though this is technically a race, the winner of this arena is often the one who can remain alive. We have seen events end on foot and we’ve seen unarmed subcompacts race around in 1/3 the time the enemy van does, only to have his gate blocked by the opposing vehicle with no way of getting it out of the way! Speed is not always the winner, and neither is brute force.

Good luck!
