Duel Sixteen

This was semi-final round. Four players met here:
#1 in Duel Twelve, #2 in Duel Thirteen, #1 in Duel Fourteen & #2 in Duel Fifteen.
The top two moved on to Duel Eighteen against the winners of Duel Seventeen.

This is a Division 20 using AADA tournament rules.
Please see the CWRQ  ODQ & Intro for full details.
The only exception will be on Victory Conditions.

Gate speed is your choice, 20 mph to 40 mph.
No leaving your vehicle or the arena.

All walls are 15 feet tall and have 80 DP.
The columns are also 15 feet high and are indestructible.

Exception to the victory conditions in the CWRQ:

Kills are still worth 20 points for mobility and 40 for full.
Bonus duel points listed will count toward victory conditions.

In addition to what's listed there, each time you drive between
two columns in the corner sections you get 2 points.
If you score a mobility kill, anytime after that they are worth 3 points.
If you score a full kill or at least two mobility kills, anytime after that they are worth 5 points.
If you have scored at least 3 mobility kills or 1-1/2 full kills, then they are worth 10 points.
You cannot score the same columns consecutively.
You can, however, circle around a center column and pick up points from each side.

You will be awarded the checkpoint points when, by my ruling, the center of your counter has crossed
an imaginary line connecting the center of two of the dots. No points will be scored for passing between
a column and the corner or a column and the wall. If you vehicle drifts in and out and the center of your
counter passes the imaginary line, you will be awarded the points.

The Paint ignites into a Flame Cloud, damaging Thomas & causing him to fishtail.

Eric & Rob move straight 1/2".
Dwight makes a D1 left bend.
Thomas fishtails 30 degrees CCW, almost clipping the wall, then moves straight.
Eric makes a D1 right bend.
Rob makes a D1 right drift.

Combat
Rob fires a Rocket Booster, accelerating to 85 mph.
Thomas drops a Mine from the Right, Left and Back.

Turn 3 Phase 4
Rob moves straight, hitting Dwight in a T-Bone. Rob's BT activates a Front Sand Discharger.
The damage takes out Dwight's Right armor and destroys the PP & the Driver for a full kill.
Rob hits Dwight's obstacle but takes no tire damage. Rob's Front Metal armor ramplate loses some strength.
Rob is now at 45.
Dwight moves straight after being conformed.
Eric makes a D1 right bend.
Thomas makes a D3 left bend, losing control. He hits Rob in a T-Bone. His front BT activates 6 HR's. 2 of these hit Rob, destroying his Left Metal armor and damaging his plastic.
Rob has a BT that activates a Left Ice Discharger, Back Oil Discharger (mostly harmless due to the Sand) and Left Point Defense Grenade Discharger. The latter damages Thomas' front and right armor and both right Hubs while he's on the Ice, causing him to lose control even further. The Discharger also damages Rob's armor.
The ram itself takes damages Thomas' Plastic ramplate and destroys what's left of Rob's left armor, causing internal damage.
Thomas conforms Rob, taking damage from 2 obstacles while on the Ice. Rob takes a hazard but no damage from Thomas' obstacle, losing control.
Thomas is now at 30.

Combat
Thomas drops Mines 4 5 & 6.

Turn 3 Phase 5
Eric & Dwight move straight.
Rob's car fishtails CW slightly into Thomas' car, setting off Mine Counter #4, taking damage to all four tires and his Underbody. He loses control again before moving straight.
Thomas also takes damage to all four tires and his Underbody. He then turns CW and rolls onto his right side, conforming Rob yet again.

Thomas drops Mines 7 8 & 9. 7 is marked on the map. 8 & 9 are blank for now and are also stacked directly on 2 obstacles.

Eric accelerates to 85.
Dwight maintains 60.
Rob maintains 45.
Thomas maintains 10.

Eric makes a D1 right bend.
Dwight moves straight.
Rob's vehicle is unable to fishtail, so he moves straight.
Thomas skids along his right side into Rob, not rolling to another side.
Eric & Dwight move straight.

Thomas drops Mines 10 11 12 (11 & 12 are stacked).

Rob accelerates to 60.
Eric moves straight 1/2".
Rob makes a D1 left bend.
Dwight moves straight.
