Duel Nine

This is the arena that came with the Car Wars Classic game.
Division 15 using AADA tournament rules (points system, not last man standing)
Reflex rolls fixed at 4. Gate speed is your choice, 20 mph to 40 mph.
You will have the option to change speed beginning with Turn 1 Phase 1.
Alternate Encumbrance will be used. No personal equipment other than BA & PFE.
No fighting outside the car. You can escape your vehicle (burning, etc.) but you may not fight.

The top 3 players from this Duel and Duel Ten were invited
to play against each other in this same arena for Duel Eleven.

All walls are 80 DP.
The solid black lines are tall walls that cannot be crossed.
The white walls are short walls that do not block line of sight.
They can be crossed by pedestrians without slowing and pedestrians
can hide behind them. They also have 80 DP and block vehicle movement
just like the tall walls.

The gates remain open. Pedestrians or vehicles exiting a gate are out of the event.
Pedestrians can also leave by entering the white area of the Bunkers, marked by a B.

Oil Slick flames up under Michael just as Michael's Front Mounted Sand Discharger stops the part under his car. The rest is still burning. Michael took no damage.
Thomas' Gunner fired as Scav again, this time hitting his front and causing Scav to fishtail next phase.

John moves straight.
Curt makes a D4 bend right.
Eric moves straight.
Michael moves straight, hitting the flaming oil. Each tire takes damage. The underbody has metal armor which is not penetrated. He loses control from this.
Brad moves straight.
Scav fishtails 30 degrees counter-clockwise, then makes a D3 bend right, losing control.
Thomas makes a D2 right bend.
John and Curt move straight.

Turn 2 Phase 4
John and Curt went straight.
Eric made a D1 drift to the right.
Michael started a spinout, turning 90 degrees clockwise and dropping to 40.
No other movement this phase.

Brad makes a D3 bend right.
Scav skids 1", taking tire damage & dropping to 20. He's still skidding.

Eric's oil ignites under Scav, blowing off all 4 wheels and giving Eric a mobility kill. The FOJ damaged the underbody as well and that damage went internal. Scav would have skid next movement.
Scav fires all of his remaining rockets at Eric, but he misses with all of them.
Brad fires his FT at Curt, missing.

End of Turn
Scav catches fire and explodes, leaving debris and yet more obstacles. Eric now has a full kill and 40 points.

John makes a D6 left bend.
Curt moves straight.
Eric makes a D1 bend right.

Michael moves straight 1/4" then pivots to face Thomas.

Curt fires his HMG at Michael and misses.

Michael accelerates to 15.

John makes a D1 drift left.
Curt makes a D3 bend right.
Eric makes a D1 bend right.

Combat
Oil 5 under Michael ignites. The front right wheel and both back wheels were removed. Damage to underbody breached plastic armor and some went internal.
Michael is not out of control as a result of losing 2 wheels.
Eric scores a mobility kill and 20 more points, bringing his total to 60.

Turn 5 Phase 3
John, Curt & Eric move straight.
Thomas makes a D3 drift to the left.
Michael spins out, losing his front left tire and coming to a stop.
John makes a D1 drift left.
Curt moves straight.

Turn 5 Phase 4
John decelerates to 80.
John makes a D1 drift left, T-Boning Brad's left side. Brad's metal armor was breached and plastic underneath was breached. Internal components took damage.
John leaves a debris counter which gives Brad some tire damage.
Brad leaves an obstacle counter, but John takes no tire damage.
John's speed drops to 40 & Brad is conformed slightly.
Curt makes a D1 right bend.
Eric makes a D1 right bend.

Thomas fires his Turreted HMG at Michael, hitting his front armor and causing a debris counter.

The oil under Michael flames up, removing his left front wheel and giving his internal some damage via the Underbody.

Eric moves straight, T-Boning Thomas. Eric's front mounted Sand Discharger fires. Eric drops to 45 mph and hits Thomas' obstacle. Some metal and plastic armor were destroyed.
Thomas loses all plastic on the left side. His driver and gunner are both knocked unconscious. Eric is awarded a full kill and 40 more points.
Thomas hits Eric's obstacle.
John makes a D2 right bend.
Curt & Thomas move straight.
Brad moves straight 1/2".
Eric's speed dropped, so he does not move again.
John moves straight.
Curt makes a D3 right bend.

Since Eric is in control, he is awarded First Place. Brad, John & Curt are tied for 2nd. Brad is AWOL, so Curt and John decide to accept a tie for 2nd and advance to Duel Eleven.
