Gunners & Runners
Division 10

For questions: email jimmylogan0916@gmail.com

By popular demand! Pedestrian combat is not only possible, but likely!

The walls are 80 DP and 45 feet tall.
The gates are always open. Any vehicle or pedestrian leaving can not return.
Any character can leave but loses 20 points if they do.
Accidentally leaving still incurs the penalty (losing control, for example, and skidding out the gate).

Subcompacts and Cycles only
Subcompacts may have a gunner or passenger, but not both.
Cycles may also have a passenger as well as a sidecar.

Victory Conditions
The winning team is the first team to score 100 points.
You score 20 points for each enemy character killed.
If someone brings a driver only, killing that driver is worth 40 points.
Driver & passenger kills count together so that only one "team" can win.
Losing a driver or passenger will subtract 20 points.
Losing a driver in a one man team takes away 40 points.

If a driver or passenger leaves his vehicle, he is not considered a kill.
The character must die to become a kill. A character can take over another vehicle.
A pedestrian may also jump onto an enemy vehicle. If so, chassis strength will not be a factor.

If you kill another character with a vehicular weapon, you get half the listed points.
If you kill with a hand weapon, you get the listed points.
If you kill with a hand weapon while a pedestrian, you get double points.

No modification is made to the points you lose.
(for example, being killed with a hand weapon still only causes a 20 point loss)

If everyone is killed or leaves the arena, the scores will determine 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.

Anything goes, as long as it's AADA legal. Gas engines or Electric PP's are allowed.
Tire shots are allowed.

Hand weapons are allowed, and encouraged!
Alternate Encumbrance Rules will not be used. Characters will be limited to 6 GE's on their person.
Extra equipment must be stored in the vehicle. Every 12 GE's, or fraction thereof, takes 1 space and weighs 50#,
except for Portable Fire Extinguishers, which have their own listed weight/space as cargo.
These caches of items will be considered cargo and have 1 DP each.
If they are destroyed, the items are damaged beyond use and/or scattered in the vehicle, thus unable to be used.
You can not drive a car with a backpack or backpack type item on.
Remember if you have CA around your crew, they can't fire "outside" the CA.

Arena notes

The arena is The Emperor's Garden, reproduced in Northwest Mississippi
near Tunica as part of a casino attraction.

Arena Courtesy of NOVA

The arena floor is made of packed dirt, so maneuvers are at +1 and crash table results are at -3.
Also, rolls and bail-outs will result in reduced damage, per Off Road rules (CWC2.5 pg. 20).
Jumping out of a car or off of a bike will cause damage as if you were
sideswiped by a car moving 30 mph slower than your actual speed.
In essence, jumping at 30 or less will result in no damage whatsoever.
If your vehicle rolls, you'll take 1D-2 damage per side, not 1D.
No underbody damage is possible, so no OR Suspension required.
Radials and Racing Slicks work normally; OR Radials do not.
Rocks have 50 DP and are three feet high (3 smaller black areas).
Boulders are 150 DP each and are ten feet high (3 larger black areas).
Trees, trimmed in bonsai fashion, are ten feet tall and have 20 DP each.
The branches don't block line of sight, but the trunks do.
