Victory Conditions
Everyone will start at the
It is approximately 3 lanes wide with grassy fields on each side,
so going off-road will not cause damage, though you will suffer a D2 haz
going to or from grass/asphalt.
The first vehicle to hit 30 mph will become “it.” You may not
fire until you reach 30 mph.
You may not fire later if you are traveling less than 30 mph.
No dropped weapons (for this event, grenades and Molotov’s do not count as dropped weapons).
For every inch of road you travel as it, you get 1 point.
To become it, simply cause 1 point of damage to the vehicle that is currently “it,”
or one of its occupants.
Metal armor that's "hit" can still cause you to be it even if the
metal is not penetrated.
Only one vehicle can be it at a time.
The event will end 150 inches down the road when a vehicle crosses the
finish line.
Whoever has the most points wins.
If all vehicles but one are eliminated, that vehicle is the winner.
If all vehicles are eliminated, the winner will be the one with the most
points.
No points are scored except by being it.
You are permitted to move from vehicle to vehicle, but you get no points for
being on or in "it" unless you are part of that team.
If a teammate is on/in the vehicle that is it and they cause 1 point of
damage, your car becomes it.
You do not become it for running someone off the road or causing tire damage in
a skid,
but you can become it for ramming. Since both you and the one who is it
"cause" damage,
whoever is not it at the time becomes it.
Alternate Encumbrance will not be used in this event.
Grenades are designed to appear as 20th Century Style. They do not have
impact fuses and
their timers are set at 3 seconds. You can activate and hold with the intention
of throwing later, but
if the crewmember with the grenade dies, it will explode anyway. If in a
vehicle, it can be picked up
with a combat action by another passenger/gunner on a 1-2, or on a 1 by the
Driver.
If it's dropped while on a vehicle, it will be as if it was dropped on the
vehicle and will roll off the back
during the next phase of movement.
