Dyersburg, Tennessee is where our club was going to be based. MADHAT was adopted as the name, but we also considered D.A.W.G.'s - Dyersburg Area Wide Gamers.

Subject: Chassis & Crossbow
Due to high demand from local fans, we are planning a Chassis & Crossbow event. This will be held on the remains of Miston Highway between beautiful Fort Lenox and Bogota Lake.
This is a stab at the locale. There is an old 2 lane highway that runs close to the Obion River from Bogota, through the community of Miston, all the way to the Great River Road at the Mississippi River near the Lenox community. The Obion River is notorious for flooding the entire Bogota community, so in my Car Wars future, it's just a big lake. Lenox is a "hill country" type of old, old community, so I figured it survived as a Fort.
All local duelists are invited and will be given top slots. If demand is what we expect, professional duelists may attend future events.
This promises to be an exciting time for us! As you know, we have been in a constant, friendly competition with the MudWay.
The MudWay is an arena designed by a past club member. He was active at the time I was working this up.
Our off road arena has seen some action, though not as much as the more traditional facilities.
We were getting ready to use the Ozark Off-Road Arena for a duel.
Also, we need an angle to compete with the Mudway's motocross track currently under construction.
The same guy was collaborating with me on a Moto-Cross type race course, with weapons of course.
(On a side note, we insist we've had nothing to do with the complications in construction of the MOTO-X track.) As a quick response, and hopefully to get some market share early, we have arranged for the use of Miston Highway. All wrecks have been cleared but no effort has been made to repair the road. We found no significant potholes but there are several pitted areas. We hope this will be an added feature and not a distraction.
