Welcome, fans, to the first Miston Highway C&C event, sponsored by Trails & Rails!
The 5 participants are lined up at the starting end of Miston Highway, but let's find out just a little about what it takes to get to this part of the event.
Origianally, we had 8 teams that were interested in participating in this event. First on the scene was the "Insane Clown Car" from Team Shultz. His crew is, well, maybe the pics will speak for themselves... click here
Team Cheese was next with a car and crew coming almost out of nowhere.
David Noel had signed up for this event, but a case of the flu kept his driver in the bed. He plans to give it a try next time.
Bad Bernard was contacted by Paul Spence to ge in this event, and he brough his buddy Flaming Frank. This is Flaming Frank's first event ever.
Team Cappocchi failed to make it to town in time for the prelims... We wish them the best and hope they try again in the future.
Ranger Station, the entry from the Blaylock team, has no top! We wondered what was going on till we saw the look of that crew...
Joe Reynolds had planned to bring a team along, but was also plagued with troubles on the road. He's petitioned Trails & Rails to host another event soon so he can get in on the action.
Finally, the final entrant, Hummer, was brought down from TSAR by none other than Curt Lindmark and his crew. Making a late entry, Lindmark has 3 guys ready to fight for the trophy. We'll see how they do...
Lastly, Scavenger was an early entrant, but had to drop out early due to technical problems with test vehicles. His team is working hard to get the problems handled in time for the next MADHAT event.
