Duel Fourteen

This was a Division 20 using AADA tournament rules.
Please see the CWRQ  ODQ & Intro for full details.
The only exception will be on Victory Conditions.
Details below the map.

Gate speed is your choice, 20 mph to 40 mph.
No leaving your vehicle or the arena.

Vehicle walkarounds and the play by play are posted below.

All walls are 15 feet tall and have 80 DP.
The columns are also 15 feet high and are indestructible.

Cars are shown to provide scale. The arena will be clean when the duel begins.

Exception to the victory conditions in the CWRQ:

Kills are still worth 20 points for mobility and 40 for full.
Bonus duel points listed will count toward victory conditions.

In addition to what's listed there, each time you drive between
two columns in the corner sections you get 2 points.
If you score a mobility kill, anytime after that they are worth 3 points.
If you score a full kill or at least two mobility kills, anytime after that they are worth 5 points.
If you have scored at least 3 mobility kills or 1-1/2 full kills, then they are worth 10 points.
You cannot score the same columns consecutively.
You can, however, circle around a center column and pick up points from each side.

You will be awarded the checkpoint points when, by my ruling, the center of your counter has crossed
an imaginary line connecting the center of two of the dots. No points will be scored for passing between
a column and the corner or a column and the wall. If you vehicle drifts in and out and the center of your
counter passes the imaginary line, you will be awarded the points.

Eric makes a D1 left bend.

Eric fires his RL's at Steve again, hitting with 1 of them. The damage does not penetrate the metal armor.

Paul fires all three of his front RL's at Barbarian, hitting with 1 of them. A piece of Metal Armor was blown away, and the plastic underneath took damage as well.

Eric makes a D3 right bend.
Steve moves straight, T-Boning Paul. Steve loses some metal armor and drops an obstacle. Paul loses some plastic and drops some debris.
Steve takes no tire damage from the debris. Paul loses his back right tire to the obstacle.

Combat
Barbarian fires both VMG's at Paul, hitting him in the front with one of them. Paul is fishtailing.

Turn 14 Phase 3
Eric makes a D1 bend right.
Steve makes a D3 bend right, conforming Paul over an obstacle, causing him to lose the rest of his tires.
Barbarian moves straight, setting off Explosive Spike #8, taking damage to each tire, and losing his front left tire. He is fishtailing as a result.

Turn 14 Phase 4
Eric makes a "less than" D4 bend right.

Turn 14 Phase 5
Eric moves straight.
Steve moves straight 1/2", continueing to conform Paul.
Barbarian fishtails 30 degrees CCW, then moves straight 1/2".

Combat
Eric fires his RL's at Paul, hitting him in the left side with both of them, causing an obstacle as well as fire mods.

End of Turn
Paul catches on fire from Eric's RL's. All four wheels are destroyed. He is skidding.

Turn 15 Phase 0
Eric maintains 60.
Steve maintains 25.
Barbarian accelerates to 30.
Paul maintains 5.

Turn 15 Phase 1
Eric & Steve move straight.
Barbarian makes a D5 right, scoreing 3 points & hitting an obstacle and taking tire damage to the back tires.
Paul fishtails 30 deg CW, then skids 1/2", coming to a stop.
Eric makes a D1 right bend, scoreing 10 points. Having 80 points now, Eric will win on Turn 20 Phase 1 if he still has at least 80 points.

Combat
Eric fires both RL's at Barbarian, missing with both of them.
Paul drops a Mine.

Turn 15 Phase 2
Eric makes a D1 right bend.

Turn 15 Phase 3
Eric makes a D2 bend right.
Barbarian makes a "less than" D2 bend left. He hits the obstacle, taking tire damage on 2 tires.
Steve makes a D6 right bend.

Steve fails to catch fire.
Paul continues to burn and his driver is killed. He's now a full kill with 20 more points going to Eric.

Eric has 100 points and the Duel is over. Steve places second.
