This was a Division 80 event. Electric Power Plants or Gas Engines were
allowed.
There will be no restrictions as to dropped weapons, tire shots,
rams, whatever. Anything goes, as long as it's AADA legal.
It will be a 3 lap race with the winner being the first person, with
or without his vehicle, to cross the finish line the third time.
It will be a rolling start at 80 mph. You must maintain forward
motion in the clockwise direction at all times, though there is no minimum
speed.
If your car is rendered immobile (either by 2 or more wheels gone or
by engine/PP being destroyed),
you can either give up at that point or get out and try to make it
on foot. No stopping and no going backwards.
I use the rules as printed in CWC2.5 except where superseded by UACFH.
I also use clarifications per Eric Freeman in the CWRQ
& ODQ with very, very few exceptions.
I do use reflex rolls and confetti; I don't use alternate
encumbrance rules.
You can only carry 6 GE on your person. Any more must go into
cargo space.
It takes up 1 space and weighs 50# per 12 GE or fraction thereof. Any
damage done to cargo space makes it unusable.
If you have more than 12 GE in cargo space, any shot that hits cargo
will destroy one space worth determined randomly.

The two big curves in the east are banked. The northern one is
normally banked and the southern one is steeply banked.
A banked curve reduces all bends made with the curve by 1 and
increases bends made against the curve by 1.
A steeply banked curve reduces all bends made with the curve
by 2 and increases bends made against the curve by 2.
Drifts are opposite. You can drift against the curve easier but
drifts with the curve are more difficult by the same factors.
I'm trying several views with this duel.
The map above will always be kept up to date. The following
will be larger downloads, but closer views.
The clarity is a little on the poor side right now, but
I plan to make it better as the race continues...

Combat
Dwight fired his Mine Dropper out the back, dropping a Spider Mine.
Curt set them off. Chris took underbody damage as well as damage to both
back tires. Dwight himself took underbody damage and damage to all four
tires. John took damage to his back left tire that bypassed the guard.
Curt took underbody damage and damage to both front tires. Michael took
damage to his underbody, both front tires and back left tire. Dawn took
damage to her front left tire that bypassed the hub.
Michael made no action.
John fired his turreted VMG at Dawn, taking away her front left wheel,
leaving an obstacle which Michael hit. Dawn is also fishtailing as a result
of the wheel loss. John also fired a Discharger on his left side, leaving
Oil Slick Number 1.
Curt made no action.
Aaron made no action.
Chris fired his VMG at Dwight, removing his hub and doing some damage
to the tire, leaving a debris counter. Chris also fired his rocket booster
giving him a new speed of 100 mph.
Dawn fired her turreted MML at John, hitting his back armor.
Kylan fired his three turreted HMG's at Aaron, hitting his front right
tire with one of them. The damage bypassed the hub.
Turn 1 Phase 2
Chris moved 1" straight.
Dwight moved 1" straight and dropped another Spider Mine.
Michael made a D1 left bend on oil, which turned out to be Pyro style.
Michael took damage to tires and Underbody. He also failed to complete
his maneuver due to a rearend collision with John. Michael lost his front
Discharger and John lost his back Discharger. Michael's counter is oriented
10 degrees CW from straight up.
John moved 1" straight.
Curt moved 1" straight, having a chance to set off Mine Counter 2,
and failing to do so.
Aaron made a D2 swerve to the left (less than 1/4" drift to the right
followed by a D2 bend left).
Dawn fishtailed 30 degrees CW, sideswiping Michael. Michael's bumper
trigger dropped Paint Cloud 1. Dawn lost her left Discharger in the collision.
Dawn's counter orientation is 13 degrees CW from straight up. She then
moved straight and will fishtail next phase as well as skid.
Kylan made a D2 right bend, causing a rearend collision with Aaron,
stopping his forward movement and destroying Aaron's back Discharger. Kylan's
new counter orientation is 40 degrees CCW from straight up.
Chris moved his other 1" as a "less than D3" drift to the right.
Combat
Dwight fired his turreted laser at Chris and hit his Right Front Tire.
The hub was destroyed and the tire took damage. A debris counter was dropped.
Curt fired his front mounted HMG at Chris and missed. He also dropped
a Mine, which Aaron failed to detonate.
Aaron fired his twin GG's at Kylan's left front tire, taking wheel
and all. The subsequent obstacle affect Aaron. Also, Kylan is out of control
as a result of losing the wheel.
Turn 1 Phase 3
Chris moved 1" straight.
Dwight moved 1" straight, dropping Spider Mine #3.
Michael deferred first 1"
John moved 1" straight
Curt moved 1" straight, dropping Mine #5 and failing his chance to
set off Spider Mine #3.
Aaron made a D2 bend to the right, setting off Mine #3. He took damage
to all four tires and underbody. Michael also took damage to his back left
wheelguard, and will fishtail and skid next phase.
Dawn fishtailed CCW 30 degrees, then skid 1/2", then went straight
1/2".
Kylan began a roll. He moved straight 1" then tried to turn to roll
and collided with Aaron in a zero damage rearend collision. He is now 35
degrees CCW from straight.
Michael moves straight 1" and did not set off Spider Mine #2.
Chris makes a D1 drift to the right.
Dwight moves 1" straight, dropping Spider Mine #4.
Michael moved straight, sideswiping Dawn who will fishtail again next
phase.
John moved 1" straight.
Curt moved 1" straight, dropping Mine #6 and failing his chance to
set off Spider Mine #4.
Aaron moved straight, not setting off Mine #5.
Kylan continues his roll, once again moving forward but not turning.
Dawn moves straight, conforming Michael.

Chris moved straight 1".
Dwight moved straight 1", dropping Spider Mine #7.
Michael defers.
John made a D1 drift right.
Curt made a D1 drift left.
Aarron made a "less than D1" drift left and missed the mine counter.
Kylan, still in contact with Aaron, twisted some to be straight up.
He also hit Mine #2, doing damage to all remaining tires and underbody.
Aaron took damage to his back tires from the same mine, destroying
his back left Guard and Wheel. His back right Guard absorbed the damage
to that side. Aaron is now out of control.
Kylan took tire damage from the obstacle.
Michael fishtailed 15 degrees CW, then skid 1", sideswiping Dawn. His
front right tire popped as a result of the skid and he will skid more next
turn. His speed is now 60 mph.
Dawn fishtailed 30 degrees CCW, then moved straight, sideswiping Michael.
She will fishtail again next turn.
Michael and Dawn both failed to set off any mines.
Chris made a D1 drift to the right.

Aaron rolls onto his left side, breaching the armor.

weight of Dwight's vehicle.

Dwight's gunner fires his Laser at Chris again, this time removing
the back left wheel.
Chris hits Dwight's front left wheel with his VMG, removing it as well.
John's gunner hit Curt's front right wheel, doing some damage to the
hub there.

Chris accelerates to 145
Curt makes a D3 bend to the right.

Curt fishtails 30 degrees clockwise, then moves straight. This T-Bones
John, killing Curt's driver.

Curt turns 90 degrees clockwise and vaults into the air...
